Asst Manager / Manager - Indirect Purchase

• Leads the strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost optimization of all non-production-related (NPR) goods and services. This role bridges internal department needs (operations, IT, HR, facilities) with external suppliers to ensure service quality, risk mitigation, and target savings.
• Build, execute, and monitor category strategies for indirect spend areas (e.g., MRO, plant consumables, IT software/hardware, logistics, corporate travel, facilities).
• Lead end-to-end Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and bidding processes to select optimal vendors.
• Negotiate commercial terms, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and pricing to lower Total Cost of Ownership
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct periodic reviews, track KPIs (quality, delivery punctuality, responsiveness), and manage vendor risks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Plant Operations, HR, IT, Finance) to forecast demand and align purchasing requirements with company budgets.
• Oversee Purchase Order (PO) generation, maintain records, and analyze spend data using ERP and procurement tools
• Ensure all indirect procurement activities adhere to company governance, local/national regulations, and ESG/sustainability standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 6 to 10+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms (Coupa).
• Strong data analysis capability (Excel, Power BI, spend analytics).
• Core Competencies:
• Commercial negotiation and contract drafting.
• Deep understanding of MRO and indirect spend categories.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and cross-functional communication.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
