Asst. Manager - MEP

Key Responsibilities Project Management

• Lead and manage all MEP construction activities across the solar project.
• Develop MEP execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, SCADA, commissioning, and EPC teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure achievement of project milestones.

Mechanical Systems Management

• Supervise installation and testing of HVAC systems, ventilation systems, fire protection systems, water supply networks, drainage systems, and utility services.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate inspections and testing activities.

Electrical Systems Management

• Oversee installation of LV systems, lighting systems, earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Coordinate interface activities with solar PV electrical systems and substations.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Support energization and commissioning activities.

Plumbing & Utility Services

• Manage installation of potable water systems, sanitary systems, drainage networks, and utility infrastructure.
• Ensure all plumbing works meet project requirements and local regulations.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of plumbing systems.

Quality Management

• Ensure all MEP works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams and client representatives.
• Monitor installation quality and implement corrective actions when required.
• Ensure closure of quality observations and punch list items.

HSE Management

• Enforce project HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and monitor compliance with safe working practices.
• Participate in safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all MEP activities.

Testing & Commissioning

• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
• Review commissioning procedures and test reports.
• Ensure systems are operational and ready for project handover.
• Support project acceptance and close-out activities.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Interface with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare project status reports.
• Resolve technical and commercial issues related to MEP scope.
• Ensure effective communication between project stakeholders.
