Asst Manager - Order Execution / Project Management

Role & responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from order receipt through manufacturing, inspection, dispatch, and project closure.
• Conduct order review and ensure alignment with technical and commercial requirements.
• Act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams throughout the order execution cycle.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Finance, and Dispatch teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, document submissions, approvals, inspections, and delivery milestones.
• Ensure timely submission and approval of technical and commercial documentation.
• Track order progress and proactively resolve execution-related issues.
• Coordinate Third Party Inspection (TPI), customer inspections, and dispatch clearances.
• Monitor project margins, payment milestones, advances, and receivables.
• Conduct regular review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure on-time delivery while minimizing commercial risks such as delays, penalties, and liquidated damages.
• Maintain project MIS, order status reports, and ERP/SAP records.

Preferred candidate profile

Formal education: Degree/Diploma Mechanical

Professional experience: 5 /10 Years

Functional Skills

• Experience in Order Execution, Order Management, Project Coordination, or Project Management within Engineering Manufacturing industries.
• Exposure to Pumps, Valves, Process Equipment, Industrial Products, EPC, or related sectors.
• Knowledge of project documentation, inspection activities, dispatch processes, and commercial terms.
• Proficiency in SAP SD/PP Module and MS Office.
• Knowledge of commercial aspects for dispatch procedures and documentation procedures.
• Knowledge of Third-party Inspection activities
