Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Reporting To: Plant Head / Production Head
Job Location: E-77/3, MIDC Ambad, Near Lucy Electric India Pvt. Ltd., Nashik – 422010

1. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Dispatch teams to understand order priorities and delivery commitments.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials by coordinating with the Purchase and Stores departments.
• Release production orders and job cards to the shop floor.
• Monitor production progress and regularly update the production status.
• Track delays, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to production and planning.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and other resources.
• Plan and monitor work-in-progress (WIP) to avoid delays and shortages.
• Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and material consumption.
• Coordinate subcontracting activities, wherever required.
• Assist in capacity planning and machine load balancing.
• Maintain proper documentation of production plans, reports, and records.

2. Other Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement in production planning and scheduling processes.
• Coordinate with the Design and New Product Development (NPD) teams for new product planning.
• Assist in reducing production lead time and improving operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable ISO standards.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination between all departments.

3. Authorities

• Release production plans and job orders as per the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure priority orders are executed on time.
• Highlight production delays and escalate critical issues to management.

4. Goals / Expected Output

• Ensure timely production and delivery of customer orders.
• Reduce production delays and improve planning accuracy.
• Optimize resource utilization and reduce machine idle time.
• Maintain accurate production data and MIS reports.
• Support smooth and efficient plant operations.

5. Candidate Requirements

Preferred Industry: Sheet Metal, Electrical Panel Manufacturing, or Switchgear Manufacturing.

Education: DME / BE – Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience.

Salary: As per experience, skills, and knowledge.
