Asst. Manager - Purchase

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Planning
  • Assist in preparing purchase plans based on production or project requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Vendor Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors
  • Conduct vendor performance reviews
• Purchase Operations
  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Track orders and ensure on-time delivery
• Negotiation
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
  • Achieve cost savings without compromising quality
• Coordination
  • Work closely with Quality, warehouse, finance, and Engineering teams
  • Resolve supply-related issues and discrepancies
• Documentation Reporting
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation
  • Prepare procurement reports and analysis (cost, vendor performance, etc. )
• Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations
  • Support audit requirements
