Asst. Project Manager – Construction Remodeling

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Ass.t Project Manager to oversee remodeling and exterior construction projects, including decks, patios, roofing, siding, gutters, and windows. The ideal candidate will manage projects from contract to completion, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while delivering an excellent homeowner experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight
  • Assist in plannnig, scheduling, and managing all phases of exterior remodeling projects.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to inspect quality, progress, and compliance with building codes.
  • Coordinate permitting and inspections with local municipalities.
• Team & Subcontractor Management
  • Assist in overseeing subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews to ensure work meets scope and specifications.
• Budget & Schedule Control
  • Track material orders and contractor payments
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve issues causing delays.
  • Identify and submit change orders for homeowner approval when scope adjustments occur.
• Client Communication
  • Provide regular progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve concerns quickly.
  • Ensure a professional and positive customer experience from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of residential building codes, permitting processes, and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets and schedules.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (BuilderTrend or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
