About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Security Manager or Security Manager to join our dynamic team at our Lohas Park office in the Sai Kung District. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the security services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations, managing teams of security personnel, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services to our valued clients. You will play a crucial part in maintaining security standards, implementing best practices, and contributing to the strategic objectives of Honway Security Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage security personnel on-site, ensuring compliance with security protocols and company policies
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to identify and address security concerns
• Prepare and maintain detailed security reports and incident documentation
• Respond promptly to security incidents and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Liaise with clients to understand their security requirements and ensure service delivery meets expectations
• Train and mentor security staff on security procedures, emergency protocols, and customer service standards
• Monitor access control systems and surveillance equipment, identifying any technical issues or irregularities
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Participate in security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Security Manager or Assistant Security Manager in a professional security environment
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and supervise security personnel effectively
• Excellent knowledge of security operations, access control systems, and surveillance technologies
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations and high-pressure environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Physical fitness and ability to perform patrol duties as required
• Valid security licence and relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
• Knowledge of local regulations, laws, and compliance requirements related to security services
• Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making
• Preferred: Experience in the Sai Kung District or Hong Kong security industry
