Responsibilities

• Maintenance Operations
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
• Maintain:
• Motors (HT/LT)
• Transformers
• Switchgear (HT/LT panels)
• MCCs (Motor Control Centers)
• VFDs and soft starters
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability
• Troubleshooting Breakdown Handling
• Diagnose electrical faults quickly
• Implement corrective actions
• Lead emergency repairs to reduce production loss
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
• Implement preventive measures
• Project Installation Work
• Execute electrical projects:
• New equipment installation
• Plant expansion/modifications
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality
• Safety Compliance
• Follow electrical safety standards
• Ensure compliance with hazardous area requirements
• Handle flameproof equipment standards
• Follow statutory regulations
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
• Promote safe practices (LOTO, PPE)
• Documentation Reporting
• Maintain records of:
• Maintenance activities
• Equipment history
• Energy consumption
• Prepare reports on:
• Downtime
• Failures
• Improvements
• Energy Management
• Monitor power consumption
• Optimize energy usage
• Implement energy-saving initiatives
• Improve power factor and load distribution
• Team Management
• Supervise technicians and electricians
• Assign daily maintenance work
• Train and develop team skills
• Coordination
• Work with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams
• Plan shutdown and maintenance schedules
