Atlassian Consultant

Prioritize candidates with strong Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Data Center → Atlassian Cloud migration experience.

Role Overview

A European bank is migrating Jira, JSM, and Confluence from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud . We are looking for a hands-on Atlassian Consultant/SME to support the complete migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead/support Jira, JSM and Confluence Data Center → Cloud migrations , including assessment, planning, test migration, cutover and post-migration support.
• Assess and redesign workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, dashboards and reports for Cloud.
• Migrate/re-implement ScriptRunner/Groovy business logic using Automation, workflow functions, Jira Plans/Advanced Roadmaps and Marketplace apps.
• Support migration of Marketplace apps such as EazyBI, ScriptRunner, Custom Charts, Projectrak, Structure, Tempo, Zephyr and Assets & Inventory .
• Configure and administer Jira Software, JSM and Confluence across Data Center and Cloud.
• Support Atlassian Guard, SSO, SAML/SCIM, Azure AD/Entra ID and Active Directory integrations.
• Build/support integrations using Jira/Confluence REST APIs and webhooks .
• Work with stakeholders on requirements, Agile/ITSM best practices, documentation, training and handover.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on Jira + JSM + Confluence administration .
• Proven Data Center/Server → Atlassian Cloud migration experience.
• Strong ScriptRunner + Groovy experience.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence REST APIs and webhooks .
• Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps, particularly EazyBI, Structure, Tempo, Zephyr, Projectrak and ScriptRunner .
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Guard, SSO, SAML/SCIM and Azure AD/Entra ID .
• Good understanding of Agile and ITSM/ITIL .
