About the Role

A technology consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to oversee client projects involving IT service management and Atlassian platforms.

You will manage delivery from initial planning through implementation and go-live, working closely with technical consultants and business stakeholders. The role suits someone comfortable managing multiple engagements, making decisions independently and maintaining clear communication throughout delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets and resource requirements.
• Coordinate technical consultants, process specialists and client stakeholders.
• Lead project kickoffs, planning sessions and regular progress meetings.
• Maintain project plans, delivery backlogs, action logs and status reports.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, agreeing practical solutions with the relevant teams.
• Manage changes to scope and communicate their impact on cost and delivery dates.
• Support requirements prioritisation and agreement of acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate testing, training, go-live preparation and handover to support teams.
• Build strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout each engagement.
• Contribute to improvements in project governance and delivery processes.

Required Experience

• Experience managing ITSM or enterprise software implementation projects.
• A background in consulting or professional services, including client-facing delivery.
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management and the wider Atlassian ecosystem.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery methods.
• Experience with budget tracking, resource planning and change control.
• Ability to work independently, resolve delivery issues and adapt to changing priorities.

Desirable Experience

• Delivery of Jira Service Management implementations or Atlassian Cloud migrations.
• Experience transitioning clients from legacy ITSM platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL and enterprise service management processes.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Experience coordinating integrations, data migration and business change.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or ITIL certification.
