ATS/Recruitment CRM Developer

About the role

We build enterprise recruitment software: an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment CRM delivered as a TypeScript-based, multi-tenant SaaS engineered for multi-country deployment. We are looking for an ATS & Recruitment CRM Developer—a hands-on Senior Individual Contributor who owns product domains end-to-end: speaking directly with users, defining what to build, designing the user experience, and shipping production-ready code. This is not a feature-factory position. You will operate with the autonomy and execution speed of an early-stage startup engineer, transforming ambiguous problems into shipped product value without waiting for functional specs, dedicated UI/UX designers, or product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Code across the full TypeScript stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure) and maintain operational ownership of your production deployments
• Interact directly with recruiters and hiring teams to analyze workflows, validate product ideas, and close feedback loops on deployed features
• Make product decisions within your domain—defining scope, prioritizing features, and setting quality standards aligned with the Tech Lead's overall direction
• Translate user friction into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and production UI independently without relying on a dedicated designer
• Own core ATS and CRM workflows, including candidate pipelines, automated sourcing, job distribution, interview scheduling, offer management, and talent relationship management (TRM)
• Build AI-driven capabilities for automated sourcing, candidate screening, and smart hiring workflows while actively utilizing modern AI coding tools in your daily workflow

About you

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience as a senior individual contributor, including proven experience building products in startup environments (ideally 0-to-1 build cycles)
• Expertise across TypeScript and modern web stacks, API design, relational data modeling, and operational DevOps (CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability/monitoring) within multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Demonstrated experience delivering product features where you personally handled customer discovery, product decisions, UI/UX design, and production code
• Ability to independently produce clean, coherent, and highly usable interfaces and user workflows
• Active daily use of AI development tools alongside practical experience integrating AI/ML services (LLM APIs, vector embeddings, resume parsing, and algorithmic candidate matching)
• Comfortable navigating startup ambiguity, inheriting legacy codebases, absorbing complex context quickly, and operating with minimal supervision
• Prior experience building recruitment technology (ATS, recruitment CRMs, candidate sourcing tools, or job platforms) is preferred
• Exposure to talent acquisition workflows, either in-house or agency-side is preferred
• Experience deploying multi-tenant platforms across international jurisdictions, particularly within Southeast Asia (SEA) is preferred
