Attendant - Valet

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
• Ensures guests keys are not in the car prior to locking it.
• Ensure that lights are turned on when needed and are turned off when the car is parked.
• When idle, you should help keep the valet area clean.
• Assist guests in wheel chairs to the Casino when necessary
• Safety, and respect for all company and guests property.
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Ensure cars are in park for automatic transmissions, or neutral with the emergency brake on for manual transmissions, when bringing it back to the guest or parking it.
• Open doors of arrivals and departures for guests, greet them, wish them good luck and a gracious farewell.
• Greets all guests with positive upbeat attitude upon arrival
• Has knowledge of all areas of the casino and hotel outlets
• Knowledge of all promotions and events
• All other duties as assigned

Environmental Working Conditions:

• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Target Salary:

• Target Salary Range $15 plus tips.

Experience

Preferred

• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
• Able to work varied shifts – i.e. days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be 18 years old

Licenses & Certifications

Preferred

• Iowa Driver's License
• Illinois Driver License
