ATTENTION CLASS A DRIVERS!!

Responsibilities

• Transport materials: scrap, blacktop, dirt, wood, equipment, etc. in a safe and respectful manner.
• Inspect trucks to meet NYS/FMCSA regulations.
• Understand BOL, complete paperwork as required and keep good records.
• Comply with truck driving laws, rules and regulations (size, weight, route, permits, designations, road restrictions, etc.)
• Keep a clean truck, clean routinly and maintain proper
• Attend, follow and respect all DOT safety regulation trainings and expectations.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions in a safe manner.
• Report defects, accidents or violations to safety department.
• Must maintain a clean & valid MVR.
• Drug free: That meets with pre-employment/randoms & FMCSA Clean Clearing House requirments.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver. 3+ years prefered.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly, No overnights.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• We transport with tub trailers, flow boys, low boys, dump trucks and dump trailers.
• Must be able to drive a standard transmission.
• Must be able to physically perform the duties required, SUCH AS: Climb, push, pull, sit, lift 50lbs, hold your arms above your head and have an up to date DOT physical certification that meets FMCSA regulations.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
