Attic Blower Insulation Installer

Job Summary

As an Attic Blower Insulation Installer, you’ll prepare work areas and install blown-in insulation in attics and other designated spaces. You’ll use hand and power tools, follow blueprint specifications and safety protocols, and communicate clearly with clients and crew members. The role involves climbing, ladder use, and physical work at construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Review job plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; use basic math to estimate materials and confirm coverage needs.
• Prepare sites, operate insulation-blowing equipment, and install building insulation according to specifications.
• Use ladders, hand tools, and power tools safely; follow required safety protocols throughout each job.
• Coordinate with clients and crew members, explain work steps, and keep work areas orderly.
• Your impact: Accurate, safe insulation installation helps clients improve comfort and supports efficient building performance.

Qualifications

• Construction experience, including construction site experience, is preferred; experience installing insulation is an advantage.
• Able to climb and use ladders safely, handle tools, and follow detailed instructions.
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings are helpful.
• Additional construction skills such as plastering, fabrication, carpentry, roofing, drywall, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), frame carpentry, construction painting, metal stud framing, concrete finishing, masonry, or airless paint spraying are valued.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
