Attorney

National law firm is hiring a Corporate Compliance Attorney to join their midtown Manhattan office.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful and research-driven professional with:

• 5+ years of experience responding to corporate audit requests
• Experience with IRS and SEC auditing and compliance
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Microsoft Office Suite, legal document management software, and legal billing software proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage the auditing process for client companies from start to finish
• Advise clients on risk management
• Obtain and review necessary documentation including financial records, legal documents, corporate documents and compliance reports
• Draft audit letters and responses
• Assist with administrative appeals
• Assist with special research projects, as needed

Additional information:

• Salary: $120K - $160K commensurate with experience plus annual bonus
