Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a wide range of public finance and municipal bond transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, bond documents, opinions, and related agreements.
• Assist with all phases of tax-exempt and taxable bond financings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on public finance, municipal, and regulatory matters.
• Work directly with issuers, underwriters, financial advisors, bond counsel, and other transaction participants.
• Attend client meetings, closings, and other transaction-related events.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal service.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in The Florida Bar.
• 3+ years of public finance experience with a law firm or governmental entity.
• Experience with municipal bonds, bond counsel work, underwriter's counsel, or related public finance transactions preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
