Morgan & Morgan, America's largest injury law firm, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Attorney with experience in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and/or General Liability litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients through all phases of litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact cases, collaborate with a dedicated legal team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. The Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, developing case strategies, and delivering exceptional legal representation while upholding the firm's commitment to fighting For The People.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and/or General Liability matters from pre-suit through resolution or trial.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case development.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure to develop effective litigation and settlement strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, expectations, and legal options.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, experts, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all court deadlines and procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license and good standing in the state of practice.
• Previous experience handling Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, General Liability, or related litigation matters.
• Trial, deposition, and mediation experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
