Role Description This is a full-time Attorney role based in San Juan Capistrano, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work from home. The Attorney will represent employer clients in OSHA and personal injury matters, including preparing case strategies, drafting pleadings and motions, and appearing at hearings, depositions, and trials as needed. The role includes providing proactive legal advice on OSHA compliance, workplace safety policies, and risk management, as well as counseling on related labor and employment law issues. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting legal research, analyzing regulations and enforcement actions, negotiating with opposing counsel and regulatory agencies, and drafting clear, client-focused memoranda and opinion letters. The Attorney will collaborate with firm leadership, maintain organized case files, and communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed and supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense litigation involving personal injury tort claims
• Experience in all phases of discovery, depositions and expert discovery
• Demonstrated experience in trial or trial preparation
• Proficiency in legal research, including regulatory analysis and case law review, with strong written synthesis skills.
• Experience in assessing medical treatment and billing for case evaluation and expert retention
• Active license to practice law in California, or eligibility for prompt admission.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Commitment to professional ethics, client service, and collaborative teamwork.

Salary Range

minimum $140,000 with higher offers commensurate with experience
