About the Opportunity

Our client, a dynamic and growing law firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 8+ years of experience. This is an entrepreneurial, hands-on role for a lawyer who can run sophisticated deals.

The role supports a robust and expanding pipeline of lender-side transactions for established private lender and developer clients. You'll have direct client interaction and the chance to work on creative, non-template deals that make a real impact on the practice.

What You'll Be Doing

• Independently manage and run complex commercial real estate lending transactions from inception to closing.

• Supervise and correct junior associates' work product.

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of loan documents for deals typically in the $100M+ range, including construction and mezzanine loans.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing creative legal solutions for sophisticated private lenders.

• Collaborate directly with partners and a highly skilled paralegal team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

• Work on lender-side deals across the United States, primarily involving industrial complexes and data centers.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of commercial real estate lending experience, ideally on the lender side.

• Proven ability to run complex CRE lending transactions independently, from drafting through negotiation and closing.

• Experience with construction and mezzanine loans on transactions of $100M+.

• New York bar admission, or eligibility to waive in.
