ATV/UTV Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled ATV/UTV Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility task vehicles (UTVs), ensuring they perform at optimal levels for our enthusiastic customers. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and keep our fleet in top condition. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about powersports, automotive repair, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair ATV and UTV engines, electrical systems, suspension components, brakes, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools and hand tools.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics and electrical diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Assemble new vehicles, replace worn parts, solder electrical connections, and perform engine rebuilds or overhauls as needed.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting for vehicle problems, including powertrain issues, suspension repairs, and system calibrations.
• Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostics conducted to ensure transparency and quality control.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions confidently, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background specializing in powersports or automotive repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of engines—particularly powersports engines—and experience with automotive engine system repair.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical diagnostics to pinpoint issues accurately.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake repair, suspension work, assembly, and heavy lifting.
• Familiarity with motorcycle operation and motorcycle repair techniques is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting quickly while maintaining safety standards.
• Skilled in the use of power tools, soldering equipment, hand tools, and other mechanical repair tools necessary for efficient repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills coupled with a passion for powersports vehicles; ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Mechanical systems repair expertise including chassis adjustments, engine overhauls, electrical system troubleshooting, and suspension in repairs.
