AU Intermediate Accountant

Join BMG Outsourcing as an Intermediate Accountant and support Australian public practice tax and accounting operations while developing your expertise across taxation, financial accounting, BAS/IAS, FBT, bookkeeping, and client accounting.

Location: Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga
Work Setup: Onsite during training period, Hybrid after training period
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PHT (AUS Client)
Employment: Full-time
Salary: PHP 65,000 – 85,000

What You'll Do:

• Prepare taxation returns for individuals, companies, and trusts.
• Perform month-end and year-end financial accounting procedures.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS/IAS) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Returns.
• Complete bookkeeping requirements based on client needs, including bank account reconciliations and transaction coding.
• Support client accounting requirements while maintaining effective communication, working independently, and contributing to continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

• Accounting degree qualification.
• Two years or more of general accounting experience, with recent Australian public practice tax accounting experience required.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or comparable platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work unsupervised.
• Willingness to work in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, with full-time availability.
• Technical Skills & Software: Xero: Accounting software experience required; MYOB: Accounting software experience required; QuickBooks: Accounting software experience required; Australian tax accounting: Recent public practice experience required; BAS/IAS preparation: Relevant experience required; FBT Returns: Relevant preparation experience required; Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations: Relevant experience required.
