The Position

We are seeking an Accountant with at least 2 years of Australian taxation experience. The role includes client support, office administration, and preparation of tax returns and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely management of ATO lodgements and compliance obligations.
• Collaborate closely with Partners to monitor the progress of client engagements and deliverables.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other compliance reports.
• Manage the preparation and submission of Australian tax returns across a diverse client portfolio, including individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Support corporate secretarial functions, including ASIC compliance and reporting.
• Assist with bookkeeping and payroll processing when required.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Australian tax preparation.
• Proficient in Xero, Xero Tax, and QuickBooks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
