Salary: €2,667 gross per month + 8% holiday allowance

Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Hours: 08:45-17:15, five days per week Monday-Saturday

The Opportunity

A varied, hands-on role at the heart of our Utrecht auction operation. You’ll work with rare and valuable bottles, supporting everything from incoming consignments and auction preparation to customer service, packing and dispatch.

What you'll do

· Receive, unpack, organise and process bottles and consignments arriving for auction.

· List, authenticate and photograph whisky, rum and wine for our monthly online auctions.

· Prepare and carefully pack high-value bottles for domestic and international shipping, using ShipStation and completing the required documentation.

· Maintain accurate stock records and organised storage areas, including returned orders.

· Support customer collections and deliveries, including driving company or rental vehicles where required.

· Help customers with registration, bidding, consignments, payments, collections and post-sale queries.

· Provide helpful guidance on auction lots, valuations, market trends and reserve pricing, working closely with colleagues across the Auction Team.

· Work flexibly across the operation, meeting relevant KPIs and helping improve processes and the customer experience.

What we're looking for

· Strong organisation and attention to detail.

· A reliable, proactive and flexible approach - you’ll be comfortable switching between different tasks.

· Confidence dealing with customers and working as part of a team.

· Ability to work accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment.

· Willingness and ability to support collections and deliveries, including driving where appropriate.

· An interest in whisky, spirits and wine. Auction experience is useful, but not essential.

Working pattern

Our office operates 08:45-17:15, Monday to Saturday. You will work five days within this schedule. Some additional evening or weekend work may occasionally be required to meet auction deadlines or support events.
