What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the design, development, debugging, and continuous optimization of core audio algorithms in hearing aids, including but not limited to noise reduction, dynamic range compression, beamforming, feedback suppression, speech enhancement, scene recognition, and sound quality optimization.
• Based on digital signal processing methods, explore and drive the application of AI algorithms in the audio processing chain, creating technical solutions that balance algorithm effectiveness, real-time performance, power consumption, and stability.
• Participate in or lead audio algorithm architecture design, module interface definition, test metric design, and performance evaluation, driving algorithms from prototype validation to mass production.
• Deeply analyze audio issues in real-world usage scenarios, combining subjective listening, objective metrics, and user feedback to diagnose problems and continuously iterate.
• Work closely with acoustics, hardware, firmware, software, and product teams to drive algorithm integration, debugging, and optimization on target chips and device platforms.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Acoustics, Electronic Engineering, Communications, Signal Processing, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in audio/speech algorithm R&D.
• Solid foundation in digital signal processing and practical experience in audio algorithm development; familiar with one or more areas such as noise reduction, echo cancellation, beamforming, feedback suppression, dynamic range compression, and acoustic scene processing.
• Strong C/C++ coding skills, with the ability to independently deliver high-quality, maintainable algorithm engineering implementations; proficient in Python for algorithm validation, data analysis, and tool development.
• Experience deploying algorithms to embedded systems, wearable devices, headphones/earbuds, hearing aids, or other resource-constrained platforms, with an understanding of real-time performance, compute, memory, and power constraints.
• Hands-on understanding of or project experience with AI audio algorithms; able to judge the applicable boundaries between traditional DSP and data-driven methods and drive their integration.
• Strong problem diagnosis and systematic thinking skills; able to break down key variables in complex product issues and independently drive solutions.
• Strong cross-team communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different technical backgrounds.
