About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Audio Annotator to listen to, transcribe, and label audio data used to train AI and speech recognition models.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe and label audio recordings per project guidelines (speaker, sentiment, language, background noise, etc.)
- Tag audio events like speech, silence, music, and overlapping talk
- Review peer annotations for accuracy and consistency
- Flag unclear or low-quality samples
- Meet accuracy and productivity targets using annotation tools
Requirements
- Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail
- Good written/verbal skills in [language]
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy work
- Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn annotation tools
Preferred
- Prior experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics
- Familiarity with multiple languages/accents
