Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Audio Engineer to join our company for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in audio system design, AV integration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting, with strong knowledge of professional audio systems and DSP platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop audio systems for AV integration projects based on project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare audio system designs, signal flow diagrams, equipment selections, and technical documentation.
• Perform system configuration, programming, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of professional audio systems.
• Configure and commission Q-SYS systems and other professional DSP platforms.
• Develop DSP configurations, signal routing, EQ, gain structure, mixing, and system tuning.
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate with project, design, and engineering teams to understand project requirements.
• Support the preparation of technical submittals, equipment schedules, BOQs, and system documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical clarifications and product selection.
• Perform system testing and ensure the installed system meets the approved design and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot audio, DSP, networking, and signal distribution issues during installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical support to site teams and assist with system handover and client demonstrations.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test reports, as-built documentation, and other project-related technical documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in AV integration, professional audio, system design, or commissioning.
• Proven experience in audio system design for commercial, entertainment, hospitality, or similar AV projects.
• Q-SYS Level 1 and Level 2 certifications are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Q-SYS Designer, DSP configuration, signal flow, audio networking, and system commissioning.
• Experience with professional audio equipment including DSPs, amplifiers, loudspeakers, microphones, mixers, and audio distribution systems.
• Ability to read and understand audio signal flow diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
