Audio Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Integrating Audio algorithms in Android framework.
• Enable end-to-end calling on Android-based devices.
• Enable Bluetooth and other needed interfaces.
• Debug the issues related to audio.

Requirements

• Good understanding of android audio frameworks.
• Experience in Audio Track handling, Audio Mixer, Audio Policy, Audio Flinger and Audio HAL.
• Good knowledge on android audio effects interface and integration.
• Understanding of audio data and control flow from playback and capture application to the corresponding audio devices.
• Understanding of tinyAlsa, Audio FE/BE, machine driver.
• Understanding of audio codec integration/flow.
• Sound knowledge on Audio formats, able to understand and analyze audio data.
• Hand-on experience with Android debugging tools and bug report analysis.
• Understanding of AIDL, HIDL and experience implementing Android system services.
• Good understanding of Android Selinux and implementation of Sepolicies.
• Understanding of JNI interface for implementation of native.
