Role Summary:

InfoBay.AI is looking for a detail-oriented Transcription Editor to support its audio data processing and AI training initiatives. The role involves listening to audio recordings, transcribing spoken content, reviewing transcripts, and correcting errors to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality. Candidates with proficiency in at least one language other than English and Hindi are required.

Responsibilities:

• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into written text.
• Transcribe content in languages other than English and Hindi.
• Review and edit transcripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and accuracy.
• Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in existing transcripts.
• Follow project-specific transcription guidelines and notation standards.
• Maintain accuracy while working with different accents, speaking styles, and audio quality levels.
• Ensure proper formatting and consistency across transcripts.
• Complete assigned tasks within defined timelines while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in at least one language other than English and Hindi.
• Good typing speed and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of transcription and notation standards.
• Good command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in the relevant language.
• Ability to listen carefully and identify spoken content accurately.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with document and file management.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project-specific guidelines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining transcription quality.

Additional Language: Proficiency in any additional language beyond English and Hindi is an advantage.
