Role Description The Audio Visual Installation and Commissioning Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning LED video walls and related audio-visual (AV) equipment at client locations. Daily activities include reading technical drawings, planning installation layouts, mounting and wiring equipment, calibrating displays, and verifying system performance against specifications. The engineer will diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform routine maintenance, and provide basic user training and handover documentation. The role also involves coordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality completion of AV installation projects.

Qualifications

• Strong audio-visual installation skills, including mounting LED panels, routing cables, and integrating AV components into existing infrastructure.
• Proficiency with basic electrical and electronic concepts, including low-voltage wiring, connectors, power distribution, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation schematics, and to translate them into practical on-site setups.
• Experience with system configuration and commissioning, such as display calibration, signal routing, network-based control systems, and functional testing.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including diagnosing hardware, connectivity, and configuration issues under time constraints.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams, vendors, and clients, and for explaining technical details clearly.
• Comfort with field work, including working at heights, using hand and power tools, and adhering to occupational health and safety practices.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field; prior experience in AV or LED display installations is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site at client locations and flexibility to manage project-based schedules when needed.
