Job summary

Are you experienced in audio-visual production, live broadcasting, and technical AV support? We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Officer to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality visual and sound output across our productions and corporate events.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Set up, test, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment for broadcasts and recordings
• Configure and operate AV equipment for live programmes, studio sessions, and remote productions
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time to ensure uninterrupted transmission
• Manage cabling, connectivity, microphones, and mixers
• Monitor live and recorded feeds to ensure quality output
• Provide AV support during live events, conferences, and presentations
• Support virtual and hybrid meetings and presentations
• Maintain proper inventory, storage, and safe handling of AV equipment
• Coordinate with technical and production teams to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

• HND in Audio-Visual Production, Video Production, Mass Communication, or a related field
• 2–5 years of practical experience in audio-visual setup, troubleshooting, and live production support
• Experience working in television, broadcasting, or live production environments
• Familiarity with modern broadcasting equipment and AV control software
• Knowledge of live streaming and AV integration
• Hands-on experience with microphones, mixers, amplifiers, projectors, and cabling
• Familiarity with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure
• Certification in AV systems, sound engineering, or video technology is an added advantage
