Audiologist

Midwest ENT Centre is seeking a permanent, full-time audiologist to join our dedicated staff in providing comprehensive hearing healthcare. Our team of five physicians and four audiologists provides a wide range of services for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include complete diagnostic hearing evaluations of adult and pediatric populations and comprehensive hearing aid services – evaluations, fitting and verification and follow up care. Applicants should enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment and should be eligible for Missouri licensure.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform diagnostic hearing evaluations on adults and children using puretone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and otoacoustic emission testing.
• Interpret all audiometric findings to generate report of clinical impressions and recommendations.
• Upon interpretation of hearing evaluation results, develop appropriate treatment plan including fitting of amplification, assistive listening devices, and counseling.
• Perform real ear testing/speechmapping to verify optimal hearing aid benefit.
• Take ear impressions for hearing aids, earmolds, swimplugs, musician plugs, etc.
• Run Walk-In Hearing Aid Clinic twice a week.
• Conduct educational outreach for community.
• Develop and coordinate special projects as needed.
