Shoreline Connected Systems is a full-service home technology integration company on Long Island's East End. Our team specializes in simplifying complex systems, including whole-home streaming audio, lighting control, motorized shading, and WiFi and networking. We're also proud to operate one of the only Control4-certified showrooms on Long Island. Our clients count on us for thoughtful planning, clean installations, and fast support when something needs attention.

The Role

We're looking for a qualified technician who's comfortable at every stage of a project, from the rough construction phase to the finished, lived-in home. You'll work alongside our team on projects throughout the Hamptons, so professionalism, attention to detail, and good communication matter as much as technical skill.

Responsibilities

• Construction phase: Run and terminate low-voltage pre-wire, and coordinate on site with builders and other trades
• Finish phase: Install and configure A/V systems, distributed audio, TVs, smart lighting control, motorized shades, and keypads
• Networking: Set up and troubleshoot WiFi and network equipment, including access points, switches, and routers
• Programming and commissioning: Configure and commission Control4 and Lutron systems
• Handoff: Walk clients through their new system so they feel confident using it
• Service: Respond to service calls and resolve issues quickly and thoroughly
• Job site care: Keep work areas clean and treat every client's home with respect

Qualifications

• Experience in home A/V, low-voltage, or electrical installation, or equivalent training
• Willingness to work across all phases of a project, from construction through a finished environment
• Working knowledge of structured wiring, networking basics, and A/V systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm, solution-focused approach
• Polished, courteous communication with high-end residential clients
• Comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces and on ladders, and able to lift [50] lbs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel to project sites across the Hamptons

Strongly preferred: Control4 and Lutron experience. Additional experience with Sonos, Ubiquiti, or similar platforms and CEDIA training are also valued.
