Audiovisual Technician

We are looking for an AV Technician to join our fast-paced, hands-on team. We operate in a relaxed, collaborative environment where days move quickly, problem-solving is part of the daily routine, and no two job sites look identical.

Whether you are mid-level or early in your AV career, what matters most is your foundation in technology combined with a real drive to learn and grow. If you have a solid grasp of AV basics and love troubleshooting tech, we will provide the advanced training and support to sharpen your skill set.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• System Installations: Set up, mount, and integrate audio and video hardware, low-voltage wiring, control systems, and network-connected media devices.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Trace signal paths, identify system bottlenecks, and solve hardware or connectivity issues when installations don't go as planned.
• Field & Shop Operations: Work on-site at client locations for installations and field service, while helping keep gear and projects organized at the shop.
• Client Interaction: Walk clients through completed setups, explain how their systems operate, and represent the team with clear, professional communication.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid Tech Foundation: Working knowledge of standard AV hardware, signal flows (HDMI, DisplayPort, Dante, optical), basic networking, and low-voltage systems. If you don't know some of this stuff, that's ok, we can teach this stuff, but you need to have a solid passion to learn this!
• Problem-Solver Mindset: Strong analytical thinking. When an issue arises, your first instinct is to logically diagnose the root cause and fix it.
• Reliability & Drive: Punctual, accountable, and eager to learn higher-level system programming and advanced infrastructure.
• Adaptability: Comfortable transitioning between active field installations and shop setup or planning tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
