Installation Technician (Entry Level) — MountingNYC

Pay: $17–$20/hr to start, plus tips and performance bonuses

MountingNYC is a professional TV mounting and AV installation company serving residential and commercial clients across New York City. We're hiring a reliable, hands-on technician to join our growing team.

Would like someone with some AV knowledge and have a basic understanding of tools. We do have a structured training program and we'll teach you the technical side.

If you've got customer service experience, handyman skills, or both, you're already ahead.

What You'll Do
Mount TVs of all sizes on various wall types (drywall, plaster, concrete, brick); run and conceal cables for a clean, finished look; set up soundbars, streaming devices, and basic AV components; communicate with clients on site — explain what you're doing, set expectations, and leave the space clean; document completed work with photos. Keep the office and your space maintained and be able to be independent when needed.

What We're Looking For
Reliable and punctual; customer service mindset; problem-solver; takes ownership; wants to grow; comfortable with power tools and basic construction concepts (or willing to learn fast); reliable transportation to job sites across NYC; clean, professional appearance; physically able to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders.
