Audit & Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Audit & Compliance Analyst will support the execution of compliance reviews, operational control assessments, audit preparation, and remediation tracking for IT and/or telecommunications services. The role focuses on evidence collection, documentation accuracy, compliance monitoring, and identifying gaps against established policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine compliance checks and operational control assessments against approved policies, SOPs, and contractual requirements.
• Collect, review, validate, and maintain audit evidence and supporting documentation.
• Assist in internal and external audits, compliance assessments, and control testing.
• Identify control gaps, process deviations, and documentation deficiencies.
• Maintain audit findings, risk registers, corrective action plans, and remediation trackers.
• Follow up with process owners to ensure findings are resolved within agreed timelines.
• Prepare compliance reports, evidence summaries, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Review operational documentation, access records, change records, incident reports, and other control evidence as required.
• Support governance initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk, internal controls, or IT operations support.
• Familiarity with audit evidence, control testing, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
• Basic understanding of ITIL/ITSM and IT governance frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in telecommunications, IT services, or managed services is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and written communication.
• CISA, ISO 27001, COBIT, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
