About the role

As an Audit Assistant at Hong Associates, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality external audits across a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position based in Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the planning and execution of external audits for Hong Associates' clients
• Performing detailed financial analysis and data gathering to support the audit process
• Documenting audit findings and preparing draft reports for review by senior team members
• Communicating effectively with clients to gather information and clarify queries
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations
• Supporting the team in ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the overall success of the audit engagements
• Familiarity with audit software and data analysis tools
• A keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
