Job Summary

We are looking for an Audit Assistant / Audit Executive to support the audit team in audit execution, documentation, verification, reconciliations, and GST-related checks.

The role involves working at client locations and requires travel across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, and Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Perform vouching and verification of expenses, income, and ledgers.
• Verify invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Check bank statements, cash books, and reconciliations.
• Prepare audit working papers and schedules.
• Assist with GST return checks, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Coordinate with clients to collect required data and documents.
• Support seniors and managers in audit activities.
• Maintain proper audit documentation and records.
• Travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications

• B.Com / BBA / M.Com
• CA Inter / CA Article Student
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in audit or accounting

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing
• Understanding of GST fundamentals
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to learn
• Willingness to travel
