As an Audit Assistant, you will support the audit team by conducting field audits at client locations, verifying financial and operational records, collecting relevant documents, and preparing audit reports. You will ensure audits are completed in accordance with company SOPs, client guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for candidates with a commerce background who are looking to build a career in auditing and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit client locations to conduct audit assignments.
• Verify financial records, documents, and supporting evidence.
• Collect and organize audit-related information and documentation.
• Prepare audit working papers and audit reports.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and client requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and report observations to senior auditors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of audit findings.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams during audit assignments.
• Complete audit tasks within assigned timelines.

Skills Required

• Semi-qualified CA, CMA, or CS preferred.
• Articleship or prior audit experience is an advantage.
• B.Com, M.Com, or Commerce background.
• Comfortable with daily travel for client visits.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
