Audit Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor to evaluate the company’s internal controls, audit processes, and operational procedures. The role will help identify risks, recommend improvements, ensure compliance with company policies, and support management in improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct branch audits, including inventory, cash funds, sales, and compliance audits.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and procedures.
• Identify business risks and recommend appropriate controls and corrective actions.
• Review the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of financial and operational information.
• Gather and review audit evidence, documents, and supporting records.
• Research relevant laws, regulations, and government issuances to support audit findings.
• Discuss audit findings and recommendations with concerned managers and management.
• Monitor the implementation of recommended corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Provide an overall assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Internal Audit, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CIA certification is an advantage but not required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, persistent, and goal-driven.
• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willing to travel and work in provincial branches, warehouses, and other field locations.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
