Audit Associate

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end GST compliance including registration, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), reconciliation, and resolving notices/queries.
• Manage TDS-related work including deduction, deposit, quarterly return filing (24Q/26Q), and issuance of Form 16/16A.
• Handle company/LLP incorporation work including name approval, DIN/DSC processing, MOA/AOA drafting, and ROC compliance.
• Prepare and file Income Tax returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies, along with tax computation and advance tax working.
• Review and finalize accounts including ledger scrutiny, trial balance review, and preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet).
• Review work completed by article assistants/juniors, provide guidance, and ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory timelines.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve queries, collect data, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Stay updated on GST, TDS, and Income Tax law amendments and ensure implementation in client deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• CA / CS / CMA Articleship completed candidates.
• CA / CS / CMA Inter qualified or completed candidates.
• CA Final (pursuing) candidates.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounts finalization.
• Prior experience in a CA firm or similar accounting/compliance environment preferred.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and guide junior team members.
• Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounting software is an added advantage.
