Audit associate

About the role
We are seeking an Audit Associate to join our team at Wee Pang Eng & Co, an accounting firm based in the central region. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality external audit services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements for a range of clients
• Performing detailed analysis of financial data and documents to identify key risks areas or potential issues of concern
• Collaborating with clients to understand their businesses and discuss audit findings
• Preparing clear and concise audit working papers and documentation
• Supporting team members and contributing to the overall development of the audit practice

What we're looking for

• Relevant university degree in Accounting or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues of concern
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients at all levels
• Proactive, diligent and detail-oriented approach to your work
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity
