Audit Associate

JOB OVERVIEW

The Audit Associate provides support in executing internal audit procedures and in ensuring strict compliance with company audit regulation.  The role assists in guarding against asset shrinkage through regular inventory/cash counts, and in enforcing other company standard operating procedures.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES

Internal Audit & Asset Management

• Inventory & Cash Audits: Conduct scheduled and surprise physical counts of cash, inventory, and assets at warehouses, offices, shops, and branches to verify valuation and inspect for damages.
• Variance Investigation & Control: Reconcile physical counts against system data, investigate discrepancies/shrinkage, and help implement inventory control measures.
• Fixed Asset Tracking: Create and maintain detailed asset profiles (e.g., vehicles, warehouse equipment, parts) and track all associated expenses.
• Process & Transaction Compliance: Audit operational processes and sample financial transactions (e.g., expenses, procurement) to ensure compliance with company SOPs and internal controls.
• Audit Reporting: Document findings, prepare working papers, and collaborate with management to report issues and suggest actionable solutions.
