Audit Associate

About the role

JKT & Associates is looking for an Audit Associate to join our audit team.

This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with limited audit experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in external audit.

You will gain hands-on exposure to audit assignments across different industries, develop your technical knowledge, and work closely with experienced team members throughout the audit process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in audit assignments from planning through completion
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation
• Perform audit procedures and basic audit testing
• Review accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist in identifying audit findings and discrepancies
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and supporting documents
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports
• Ensure assigned work is completed accurately and within the agreed timeline
• Perform other audit-related duties as assigned by the audit senior or manager

Who We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• 1–2 years of relevant audit experience will be an added advantage
• Candidates pursuing ACCA, CPA, MICPA or other professional qualifications are welcome
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn
• Able to work independently with guidance and as part of a team
