About the role

The Audit Assistant assists in conducting fieldwork audits, reviewing financial and operational transactions, and evaluating compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting fieldwork audits at branches, departments, and assigned locations
• Perform on-site verification of documents, transactions, inventory, cash, and operational activities
• Review records and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, and control weaknesses
• Gather and organize audit evidence and supporting documents
• Prepare audit working papers and assist in preparing audit reports
• Communicate audit findings and requirements to concerned departments
• Assist in monitoring corrective actions and recommendations
• Perform other audit-related duties as assigned

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Willing to conduct on-site/field audits and travel to assigned locations
• Willing to learn and work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is an advantage
