Audit Executive

About the role

An Audit role with an accounting and professional services firm based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Employees can gain practical experience in audit assignments, financial statement review, audit testing, documentation, and client servicing while developing their knowledge of accounting standards and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting audit assignments for a variety of clients, both at client sites and in the office.
• Perform audit testing, assurance procedures, and compliance checks in accordance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
• Support the execution of multiple audit engagements and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Participate in stock takes and verification of clients' assets and inventory.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation.
• Maintain proper audit working papers and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
• Liaise with clients on audit-related matters and assist in resolving audit queries.
• Work closely with seniors and managers to complete audit assignments efficiently.

Job Requirements

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
