Job Description: Stock Audit Executive – Production Team

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical stock audits of fabrics, garments, raw materials, accessories, and finished products.
• Verify physical stock against system records, stock registers, and production records.
• Identify stock shortages, excess stock, damages, and discrepancies.
• Audit the movement of materials from purchase → production → finishing → warehouse/showroom.
• Check material consumption against production requirements and records.
• Verify inward and outward stock transactions and supporting documents.
• Monitor wastage, production loss, and material usage.
• Coordinate with the Production, Purchase, Warehouse, Accounts, and Showroom teams to resolve stock differences.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock audit and discrepancy reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and control of stock movements.
• Conduct surprise stock checks when required.
• Highlight irregularities or stock-related issues to management.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure discrepancies are resolved.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in stock audit, inventory control, production audit, or warehouse operations.
• Experience in textile, garment, or retail showroom is preferred.
• Good knowledge of stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and inventory/ERP software.
• Good understanding of textile materials, production processes, and stock movement.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct physical stock verification.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
