About the role

This is a contract position for an Audit Internship at KC AW & CO', a leading accounting firm located in Puchong Jaya, Selangor. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in external audit, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge and develop your skills in a professional accounting environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the execution of audit engagements for a diverse range of clients
2. Perform detailed data analysis and testing procedures to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial information
3. Document audit findings and contribute to the preparation of audit reports
4. Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies
5. Participate in discussions to share insights and contribute to the audit process
6. Adhere to professional standards and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality

What we're looking for

1. Currently pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree, with a strong academic record
2. Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
6. Proficient in using office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite
