A well-established accountancy practice in the Meath/Cavan region is seeking an Audit Manager to take ownership of a client portfolio and work closely with the partners. This is an audit-focused role for someone who wants real responsibility and a clear path to progress.

The role

Managing audit assignments end to end — planning, fieldwork oversight, review and final sweep

Owning audit quality and risk across your portfolio

Reviewing the work of seniors and developing the audit team below you

Managing WIP and portfolio billing, and contributing to fee targets

Working directly with the partners on client relationships and delivery

Playing a part in new business — networking, referrals and Chamber events

Keeping the team’s technical standards high and supporting CPD

What you’ll need

ACA / ACCA qualified with solid post-qualification audit experience in practice

A track record of running audit assignments and reviewing others’ work

Comfort owning client relationships and a portfolio, not just files

The appetite to develop a team and grow within the practice

What’s on offer

€60,000 – €75,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working available after an initial settling-in period

A clear path to progress in a growing practice
