Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Audit Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of assurance engagements. You will work closely with partners and clients, guide engagement teams, and help deliver timely, high-quality audits in a collaborative professional-services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork, completion, and reporting.
• Lead, coach, and review the work of engagement teams while promoting accountability and continuous development.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate audit matters, findings, and practical recommendations clearly.
• Ensure engagements comply with applicable professional, ethical, accounting, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
• Review financial statements, audit documentation, and key judgements to uphold technical and quality standards.
• Manage engagement timelines, resources, budgets, and profitability across a portfolio of clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit delivery through technology, data analytics, and efficient ways of working.
• Support proposals, client development initiatives, and the continued growth of the audit practice.

About you

• A recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A professional qualification such as Singapore CA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or an equivalent credential.
• At least five years of relevant external audit experience, including experience leading engagements and teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Standards on Auditing, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Sound technical judgement, analytical ability, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
• A collaborative leadership style and a genuine commitment to coaching and developing people.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office; experience using data analytics or cloud-based audit tools is an advantage.
