About the role

KAP PAUL HADIWINATA, HIDAJAT, ARSONO, RETNO, PALILINGAN & REKAN (KAP Paul Hadiwinata) is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our External Audit practice. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Utara, Jakarta Raya.

As an Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing audit engagements, managing audit teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients. This position is essential to maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence and ensuring compliance with international auditing standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and concluding audits whilst mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firm's strategic growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan and execute external audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and applicable local regulations
2. Lead and supervise audit teams, ensuring quality control and adherence to audit methodologies and procedures
3. Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit strategies tailored to client business environments
4. Perform substantive audit procedures across financial statement areas including revenue, expenditure, assets, liabilities and equity
5. Prepare audit working papers and ensure thorough documentation of audit evidence and conclusions
6. Review and assess internal control systems and provide recommendations for improvement
7. Manage client relationships, communicate findings to management and audit committees, and present audit results professionally
8. Develop and review audit reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy and compliance with reporting standards
9. Mentor and coach junior auditors, providing guidance on technical accounting matters and audit procedures
10. Stay current with regulatory changes, accounting standards and industry best practices
11. Contribute to business development activities and maintain strong client relationships

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting from a reputable university.
2. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP).
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
4. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. Other professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CFE, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
5. Strong knowledge of auditing standards (SPAP), Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), and applicable laws and regulations.
6. Proven experience in leading audit engagements and managing audit teams.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
9. Able to build and maintain good relationships with clients.
10. Willing to travel for audit assignments.
11. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
12. Experience in Big Four Public Accounting Firms is an advantage.
13. Placement: The Suites Tower, Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.
14. Dormitory accommodation is provided for employees residing outside DKI Jakarta.
